CHANNELNG INTUITION

As time went on, I learned to trust my intuition and not judge the information I was receiving.

Intuition is really just an inner knowing, a strong feeling, a mental picture or series of pictures. I usually feel it right in my solar plexus, in the gut, which is why these feelings are called “gut feelings”.  If the feelings are very strong, then I know beyond a shadow of a doubt the information I am receiving is true.

One chilly fall afternoon, a woman came to see me for a reading. Before I even had a chance to offer her a cup of tea or give a brief explanation of the palm reading procedure, she grabbed my arm and blurted out,

“ I really need to know if I should move!”

Startled, I pulled away. Took a deep breath and gave myself a moment to centre before picking up her right hand. I wanted to feel into her energy and even though we hadn’t had a chance to talk, I assumed her right hand was her dominant one.

A wave of blackness swept over me and I knew instinctively this was something far beyond the usual fear of switching homes, communities, or cities. There was something dark and distressing surrounding her home or perhaps the whole neighbourhood.

I had no idea what it was; it wasn’t the usual gut feeling, but felt more like a premonition.

People ask “How could you possibly know this? Where does the information come from?”

From the Universe, Spirit or if you prefer, the intuitive channels. They’re gut feelings. A deep inner knowing.

The lines etched on a person’s palm form their own personal map; like signposts that I use to trigger or begin the intuitive flow.

How Does it Work?

Once this intuitive channel is open, pictures, words, and even sounds flow so swiftly that I have trouble getting the words out fast enough. At times it can be overwhelming, swooshing over me like a tidal wave.

Sometimes there is a snag in the road and everything stops. No more information. With a little gentle prodding or a question from you, the stream resumes and the reading progresses.

Other times, the door slams shut. Abruptly. Nothing. It’s as if the intuitive channel has dried up or taken a turn elsewhere. It used to frighten me at first, but I’ve learned to just go with it, to relax and start again.

I pause for a minute, then change direction, shifting our focus to a different area of your palm. Gently, carefully, I begin to feel into your energy once more and the door slowly swings back open. Stretched out in front of me are many, many roads or pathways, each passage ending with another closed door.

Dang! Now I’m caught in a maze! Which path do we investigate first? Which door do we try? Which area is most important to you or needs attention – right now? This is where I need your guidance. I encourage you to ask questions.

This is your time, your reading. Listen to your inner voice, your own intuition and allow your concerns to come out. Once we select a door and open it a crack, the process will have begun. Then like a hidden spring of water, the intuitive information comes pouring out once again and the next door will swing open, and next and the next.

Can I ask questions?

Yes, questions are encouraged for they are doorways to your inner world. If you think I know everything on your mind, you’re wrong. I wouldn’t be human if I did! More than likely I’d be burned at the stake!

Sometimes, yes sometimes, I do go down the wrong trail. Without a signpost from you, I end up taking a wrong turn, giving you information intended for someone else.

How does this happen? I have no idea. All I can tell you is that if something doesn’t sound right, please let me know. Then we can turn around and start over.
