Praise

“Reading the palms of the hands is a well-proven way to access the deeper, and ever-evolving patterns in a person’s life. Reading Between The Lines takes you directly into the experience of entering the wisdom contained in the handprints. You’ll feel how different patterns can be interpreted for guidance and growth, and be encouraged to ‘try your hand’ at this wonderful, ancient art.”
-Penney Peirce, intuition expert and author of Frequency: The Power of Personal Vibration and The Intuitive Way: The Definitive Guide to Increasing Your Awareness

“Wendy Willow is a seasoned palm reader and has been practicing for over 20 years. She is a Montrealer who does not confine her work solely to palm reading (including past life readings for some clients), but also makes use of the healing arts (such as affirmations and creative visualization) and numerology. She seems to be particularly adept at discerning what lines of work a person could successfully and naturally follow. As often noted in her interesting descriptions of her sessions with clients, many experience a "Eureka moment" after being told of their natural bents.”
-Elaine Campbell, author of My Friend Nick The Greek

“An enjoyable read, covering the experiences of a traditional, intuitive palm reader.”
-Johnny Fincham, author or Palmistry:Apprentice to Pro in 24 hours and The Spellbinding Power of Palmistry

From Chapter 2: Let’s Get To The Heart Of The Matter

Gaby came to see me for a reading. I had seen her several times over the years. Unfortunately, her marriage had broken up six months previously and it looked as though her printing shop was failing as well. Stringy dark hair hung over her face. She was depressed and it showed. Shapeless black pants and baggy sweater hung from her anorexic body. She wore no make-up or jewelry. A very distinct smell (bluntly put: body odor) tickled my nose, so I leaned forward in my chair to casually light the tip of an incense stick with the flame of my candle. Then I began her reading.

Cautiously, she extended her hand to me while turning her head away and squeezing her eyes shut. “No more bad news!” she implored. “Please tell me something good!”

“Well,” I began, after taking a few minutes to make an assessment. “I do see some interesting things.” I was deliberately not giving anything away.

“Oh no, here it comes,” she uttered somewhat apprehensively, while shrinking into her chair.

Treading softly I continued “It looks as though there have been some uncomfortable changes relating to your printing shop.” She stole a peek at me through the curtain of hair covering her face. “Tell me something I don’t know,” she muttered, rolling her eyes.

“Either your customer base has changed, or the neighborhood has become more competitive or totally different. The surrounding energies have transformed into something that doesn’t support the shop like it once did. It is time to let go.” I suspected a lot had to do with Gaby’s own personal energy, which at this point in time was attracting darkness and failure, rather than success – but wisely held my tongue.
I waited a minute for her to absorb this news. “Now,” I went on, “if you can adjust your thinking to acknowledge that the print shop was part of your old life, and put it behind you, we’ll move on to some good news.”

“Which is?” she asked sitting up a little straighter in her chair. “I see some good possibilities for you to consider.”

“Oh, like what?” Gaby cocked her head to one side, like a little bird ready to listen and gave me an inquisitive look.

“How about catering? With your nurturing hand, strong thumb, and creative Head Line, catering would come easily to you. Or,” I went on, “I can see that you are a patient person who would understand and work well with the elderly.”

“No, I don’t want to work in a nursing home!” she interjected, sounding anything but patient. Laughing, I continued. “How about teaching seniors to improve their driving skills? I know there are many retired folks whose driving skills have deteriorated, due to vision or other health problems. They’ve lost confidence in themselves and feel they are losing their independence. With a little retraining and practice, these people could once again become active members of the community, instead of depending on others for their transportation.”

I could see that she needed a little time to think this information over, so I decided to take a few minutes and add up her date of birth.
“Let’s see if your numbers support these new business ventures. When were you born, Gaby?”

“September 6, 1969.”

“When I add up each digit in your date of birth (9+6+1+9+6+9=40), it becomes a 40. Again, you add the digits together until they become a single number (4 + 0 = 4). Your date of birth adds up to a 4.

The number 4 belongs to someone who builds foundations, someone who is stable and trustworthy. The stability of 4 is represented by four corners of the earth, four seasons, four elements (air, earth, fire and water). Because you are working a 4 vibration in this lifetime, you are constantly building (whether at work or play) and you are an excellent organizer to boot! Your method of accomplishment is always in a step-by-step manner. I can see why you were drawn to printing in the first place. But now it is time to change. With your good business sense and experience, you will have no trouble starting up a new venture. Take some time to think about what would bring you the most happiness and go for it! I believe you could become very successful.”

Somewhat relieved, but thoughtful, Gaby left. “I’ll be back!” she called out merrily over her shoulder, and walked right into the closet.
